It is a window mounted on the tower to observe the water distribution system. Necessary precautions must be taken to prevent tower water from leaking out.
Its function is to provide an observation opportunity to eliminate possible problems in the water distribution system inside the tower. It can be easily opened and closed and is wide enough for a person to fit in for system maintenance. It should be designed appropriately to prevent air and water leakage. Stainless chrome cover is tightly fixed with bolts. The reason for choosing stainless chrome is its resistance to corrosion. Bakelite single-piece butterfly nuts were used frequently to prevent leakage. Non-bakelite parts are also chrome material.
Insulation is provided with epidian seal. The use of the inspection window is necessary for repair, maintenance and inspections in all cooling towers. It facilitates visual inspection of the inside of the tower, periodic maintenance and repair work and cleaning or renewal of nozzle-water distribution systems.
